I just got this bracelet dropped on me, by an owl, and I love it. This is just perfect, it really is. Love, you have exceptional taste. I insist on dinner tonight, and yes, this is public.

The strange thing about having a birthday right after Christmas is that I forget that it is my birthday. Then the owls start coming. Grandmum is always counted on for treats. I have left some in the common room at Merlin, and some at Wynn. Feel free. She went mad this year.

Now this is my idea of a holiday. Just got in from skiing, building a fire, roasting marshmallows (yes, just that) and snuggling with my girl. Life is good.



ooc: Since Christmas is crazy here and the family has been in and now out, Jamie would have gotten gifts for all his friends, mostly gift baskets with sweets and treats including Molly Weasley's homemade cookies. For the boys who play quidditch, it would have been something more like new quidditch gloves. If you want specifics, PM or IM me. (I am around now that my messenger is working.) Joce and her parents got loads of extras. :D

I'm looking forward to the holidays this year. We have the crazy Potter/Weasley clan, and the annual New Years family quidditch match. Maybe I can get back whatever my game is missing.

Seeing as we will have some free time that ski chalet my girlfriend mentioned sounds good. I haven't been skiing since 8th year break.

I can't believe it's almost Halloween. I don't know what to dress up as yet. I guess I have to figure that out.

It was so nice to play quidditch again. It was SO nice. It deserved repeating. Try outs seemed to go well. I'm not sure if Callum should be captain if he isn't 100 percent. I think we will do well this year - like always.

I am also happy to announce that all my classes are caught up.

The muggle electronics issue have me a little worried. I like having them, but the disruption is annoying.

I'm glad everyone is back to normal now. My iPod is also working again. Yesterday it was shutting off. I was about to owl for an old one I have at home. I don't really study well when I can't close off the world for a bit.

After the ball, we should plan a social event. We have to set the standard of social this year.

The last two days have been long. First, the thing with the love potions - I don't even want to go there. What kind of arse put that out?

Between that, a trip to Russia, and poking through the monoliths - what the hell anyway? I think they might have been cursed at some point, but muggles see strange things. What is next, Stonehenge? They can't explain that either.

I could hardly fill that parchment with that bloody paper and I'm running on two hours of sleep thanks to the mock interviews. The important point is that it is done - ON TIME!

So it's official. Tir is splitting up. It was hard to believe that it was going to happen, and I will miss it, but I am signing up for Wynn. Anyone else?

I have also decided that I have really liked spending my summer here. It's almost August. Where did summer go anyway?

Egypt is amazing. I am really enjoying this internship more and more, although I have learned more in the last few weeks than I learned in class, and I think I made the right choice in careers. Our own cursebreakers are very gifted.

I was sitting at home visiting with my parents, and they asked why I wasn't packed. I started to explain about how I kind of let the application slide for a few days. Apparently, it was approved and I have an internship. My father had sent it in because he knew.

Anyway, I am packing. I also have to go to Diagon Alley. I thought I was so done.

Is anyone up for shopping tomorrow?

I have never had so few plans for the holiday coming. I know I haven't selected an internship. It is on my next week to-do list. I can't quite wrap around the need to do that with the need to enjoy the break. I know it is time to get serious. Next summer it won't be an option. I'll have to have one. This year, I feel like if I don't take one, I will end up behind the rest of my class. That is NOT good.

I am very excited about this weekend. Charity events are always fun, and I swear, I will help where I can, while I am there.

I'm really glad that whole food poisoning issue is over with. That was very, very wrong. It did give me some study time. It was a little forced, since I couldn't move around that much, but studying isn't the worst thing I could do. Now, everything is in on time, and my weekend is looking up.

I have kitchen duty tonight

...and I feel like shit.

What the hell is going on? I know others don't feel good, and someone was talking about food poisoning during one of the many trips down the hall. I'm not moving anymore, and I think I've lost a pound or two. Long nap, then kitchen.

I like the hostel. Seriously, we can stay here and I wouldn't complain. It's great, campy, and fun. I will be surprised to get assignments in on time, but the XBox tournaments must happen. There is also a bubble party. What the hell, I am having fun, and I am up for anything. Let's get bubbly.

I was so hung over that I blew off Monday. It was a great weekend. Thanks for all who came and partied non-stop. You are all the best.

Now, after this whole year, including all the bubbles, and everything else, we now have termites. Right now I would rather have the blackouts. I nearly fell through a floor. I put my foot clear through it.
